Mystic Light Knit Along

I finished this project on May 9th. This was an interesting knit. I used Fleece Artist Merino 2/6 machine washable hand dyed fingering weight yarn and U.S. size 7 needle. Red size 8 seed beads are through out the shawl. This is the original design of Anna Dalvi
The really interesting thing to me is that this shawl was knit entirely continental style (left hand knitting). Because I have rheumatoid arthritis, 4 months ago I decided I needed an alternative way of knitting to relieve the joints in my right hand and wrist. I started by making two Baby Surprise Jackets with all garter stitch to teach myself the continental knit stitch. Then I started this shawl with purl stitches, yarn overs, etc. I have perfected my technique and after 50 years of throwing my yarn I can now pick proficiently.
Now I'm working on the Slow Bee 1 Knit Along on Yahoo
