Icelandic Lace Shawl

Here it is finished! This is a knit along started on September 3rd, I finished mine and blocked it on September 16. The finished measurements are 73" wide - 32" long. I used Jaggerspun Heather colors and a size U.S. 6 needles. This was an easy project and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I think I might make another one using heavier weight yarn and larger needles. What do you think?

It is beautiful beyond words!
If you would like a heavier and warmer one, I would go ahead and make another one.
I know I'll be making more than one. :)

It turned out really lovely, Gay! Totally worth all the effort. Everyone's success keeps me going on mine!

Gay, it is gorgeous! Have you said anywhere the specific color numbers? I think I may have to make it this way!

Fantastic! And the photos display it very well. I am also considering making another one - and I agree about using a slightly heavier yarn (though the Jaggerspun has a very nice feel to it). It is pretty in the heathers.

I just started this shawl today! I have searched and found several gals used a size 6 needle. I casted on with a 5 because I didn't have a 4 but went out and bought on today but I wonder if I should switch to a 6? I don't think I will want to cast on all those stitches again! If I go to a 6 I might not have enough yarn! I bought the kit Sarahsyarns made up. In a quandry!!!
Yours looks beautiful!
