Triinu Vine and Leaf Shawl

This took me quite a while to knit, but it was always interesting. It is knit in lace weight 100% cashmere with U.S. size 5 needles. I did not block it hard because I added to the length and width. It measures 90 inches across and 45 inches long. The color is Dark Natural purchased from Colourmart in England.
I would have to look back in my blog archives to see when I started this project. I only know that it took me months to knit. Partly because I had to keep track of every stitch on every row. Other than that, this was not difficult, but it sure looks like it was! I love this one!!

If you ask me for information about this pattern, remember I can not answer your queries without your email address.

This shawl is so pretty! I'm speechless. It makes me wish lace wasn't still a 4-letter word in my vocabulary, but I think I need more knitting pratice before trying lace again. The last attempt wasn't pretty. ;)

A work of art.

Gorgeous! When you say laceweight, is that the Colourmart 1/14 or 2/14? I get confused by their designations. I love the way you got such lovely stitch definition, a somewhat denser look while still retaining all the beauty of lace. What a wonderful yarn and needle choice, and of course, the skill to go with!!

Hi- I can't remember if you wrote to the lacey shawl group on what you did to make the shawl larger; if you did, let me know and I'll go through the message boards. If not, do you think you could post what you did more or less (e.g. repeating the last 20 rows of chart X 10 times)? It's fine if you don't remember; as someone who purchased the pattern and has yet to knit it, I'm just looking for tips to gather up before I start.

Thanks, and again, beautiful design!

That has to be among the top-three most gorgeous shawls I found on the net!!! I did dozens of searches, but couldn't locate the pattern. Please, could you tell me where to find it?!?!

Someone posted this to Pinterest. It looks so pretty! I ducked onto Ravelry to add it to my queue, but then I realized the pattern is $33! I don't mind paying for patterns, but that's WAY too much for me!
